The beautiful Pacific Northwest has been my home for the past 15 years after having spent my early years in the Great Plains, specifically Minnesota, South Dakota, and Nebraska. It’s a tremendous joy to live so close to the ocean and mountains after having been raised in the land-locked flatlands. But I truly appreciate and embrace the wonderful work ethic and discipline that was instilled in me growing up surrounded by my hard-working Scandinavian parents and grandparents.

My training is in music, and I have degrees in music education and vocal performance from Yankton College and the University of Nebraska. I have been a church musician my entire life and you can find me on Sunday mornings behind the piano at my church as well as leading our choir and bell choir.

After years in music education, I was drawn to serving the senior population and began working in retirement communities. It was while serving as a life enrichment director at these communities that I saw firsthand the confusion so many seniors faced dealing with Medicare and all its intricacies. It was a natural progression for me to utilize my passion for people and my educational background to enter the field of Medicare. It brings me great joy to help people find plans that best fit their needs and wants.
