It was a career in the financial services industry that led me to Medicare. I enjoyed several very successful years as a stockbroker in Portland. After September 11, I found myself wanting and needing to make a change. I found Medicare through the insurance industry. That led me to a position with one of the major insurance carriers in Portland as a community enrollment specialist. I have enjoyed helping people with their Medicare now for a little over 7 years.

My life forever changed in 2021. I lost my husband of 33 years to cancer and then my 14-year-old Border Collie was ready to go, so in a few months we went from a family of four to two. We had always planned to move to the Puget Sound area, so I went ahead and made the move with my puppy, Blue. I landed in Seabeck, Washington on the Kitsap Peninsula. Blue and I enjoy exploring the lakes, beaches, and hiking trails daily. My favorite hobby is gardening – I’ve bought a house with a blank slate and will be diligently planning and planting the new gardens!

I am one of only a handful of Medicare professionals that service the Peninsula. Being an independent broker allows me the freedom to live our shared dream and help people in the best way possible for me. I get to surround myself in a beautiful location and be of service to my new community.
